BEST Fall Prevention Program

For Balance, Endurance and Strength Training

Balance issues affect many people, even after rehabilitation and especially as we age. The BEST Fall Prevention Program focuses on improving balance through an evidence-based, 12-week program designed to build core strength, increase mobility and restore confidence.

The Program Includes:

  • Individual Balance Evaluation
  • Consultation with Exercise Physiologists
  • Group led Balance and Exercise Instruction

Program Highlights:

  • Evaluation/Outcome Measurements: (re-evaluated after 12 weeks)
  • Balance & Overall Functional Ability
  • Flexibility & Strength
  • Fall Prevention Strategies
  • Stability Exercises

Program Days: Mon, Wed, & Fri

Pricing information: $50

 

To qualify for the BEST Fall Prevention Program, participants will need to answer four questions:

  1. Have you fallen in the last 12 months?
  2. Are you taking more than four prescription medications?
  3. Do you need to use your arms to rise from a chair?
  4. Are you afraid you might fall?

*Note: If you answered “yes” to two or more questions, you do not qualify for the BEST Fall Prevention Program and should speak with your physician about physical therapy.
