Fitness Tests

VO2 Assessment – $45

What is a V02 Max Test?
A VO2 Max Test is a measurement that reflects a person’s ability to perform sustained exercise. It is generally considered the best indicator of cardiovascular fitness and aerobic endurance. The actual measurement is “milliliters of oxygen used in one minute per kilogram of body weight.” It is suitable for a wide range of individuals, from the sedentary to elite athletes.

Benefits of Assessment:

  • Obtain the correct data to set realistic goals and assess improvements
  • Become a more efficient exerciser
  • Understand how to train to burn fat, endurance train, or cardio condition
  • Train with less fatigue and fewer injuries
  • Determine the number of calories burned at every level of exercise
  • Determine the proportion of energy coming from fats and carbohydrates at each level of exercise
  • Improve athletic performance and get over training plateaus

Resting Metabolic Rate Assessment – $45

What is Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR)?
Metabolism, quite simply, is the conversion of food to energy. Metabolic rate is a measure of how much food, or fat, is converted to energy in a day. Resting metabolic rate (RMR) is the measurement of how much food, or energy, is required to maintain basic body functions such as heartbeat, breathing, and maintenance of body heat while you are in a state of rest. That energy is expressed in calories per day. So an RMR measurement shows how many calories you burn at rest, doing nothing more than sitting in a chair.

Benefits of Assessment:

  • Proof of “normal” metabolism
  • Stabilize weight loss
  • Identify how many calories should be consumed to reach fitness goals
  • Pinpoint caloric weight loss zone
  • Detection and Diagnosis of hypo-metabolism
  • Assess the effect of a weight loss program on metabolism

InBody Assessment – $45 (single) to $75 (three pack)

What is the InBody Assessment?
Wellness and weight loss are achieved through living a healthy lifestyle. The number you see when you step on the scale is less important your body’s ratio of muscle to fat. The InBody Assessment test measures key fitness and wellness levels and allows you to monitor your progress toward your goals over time. InBody Assessment measurements include:

  • Body Mass Index (BMI)
  • Percentage of body fat and its allocation
  • Percentage of muscle mass its distribution
  • Basal Metabolic Rate
  • Body water balance, the inter- and extracellular water levels
  • Visceral fat level.

Benefits of Assessment:

  • Allows you to develop a wellness and weight loss program that is tailored to your body and fits your lifestyle
  • Track your progress on the bigger-picture level, rather than just focusing on the single data point of your weight
  • You’ll have a complete look at where your fitness stands and what you need to do to reach your fitness goals.
